Honestly I really hate even looking at the original at this point. I want to just update the deviation with the newer version, but it has over 1,000 favorites and such. Would it be wrong of me to update it with the newer (and better) version?

So my interaction with National Geographic turned out even more positive than I ever would have expected,
the chief editor I have been in contact with has asked me to send some of my new work to her in a year from now,
wanting to see how I have grown as an artist.
First she said (and again this is a chief editor of National Geographic, and she was being blunt) that I have "mastered the technical aspects of the craft"
and NOW she wants to see some of my newer work in a year.
Honestly that is pretty friggin amazing....
